Ümmügülşen Öztürk is a Turkish politician and medical doctor currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey for Istanbul. Born in 1965 in Konya, she graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1990 and specialized in pediatrics. Before her parliamentary career, she worked as a pediatrician, a university lecturer, and a member of the Presidential Health and Food Policy Board. She is a member of the Justice and Development Party and serves as a spokesperson for the Health, Family, Labor and Social Affairs Committee.
