Moe Maestas

Moe Maestas is an American attorney and politician currently serving as a member of the New Mexico Senate representing the 26th district. Born and raised in Albuquerque, he previously served as a member of the New Mexico House of Representatives. Before his legislative career, Maestas worked as a community organizer in Seattle and later as an Assistant District Attorney in Bernalillo County, where he focused on prosecuting violent crimes. He also established his own private law practice, MoeJustice Law, in 2003. Maestas holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington and a Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico School of Law.
