Mohamed Abu Hamed is an Egyptian politician and former member of the People's Assembly of Egypt, representing the Kasr El Nil district in Cairo. A graduate in accounting from Cairo University, he has worked as a chartered accountant and financial consultant. He was one of the founding members and high commission figures of the Free Egyptians Party, serving as the head of its parliamentary bloc before briefly resigning and later rejoining. Abu Hamed has been active in post-revolutionary politics and human rights advocacy.
