Mohammad Al Zaibak

Mohammad Al Zaibak is a Syrian-born Canadian entrepreneur, engineer, and politician who has served as a senator for Ontario since January 2024. Before entering the Senate, he established a significant career in the private sector as the president and CEO of the Canadian Development and Marketing Corporation. He was a co-founder of Teranet, a firm that managed Ontario's electronic land registration system, and co-founded Lifeline Syria to assist refugees. Al Zaibak has also served on the boards of the Royal Ontario Museum, Waterfront Toronto, and Toronto Metropolitan University.
