Monika Kirbiš Rojs is a Slovenian economist, politician, and the Minister of Local Self-Government, Cohesion, and Regional Development. Born in Maribor, she earned her doctorate in cohesion policy from New University's Faculty of State and European Studies. Throughout her career, she has held several prominent public roles, including state secretary at the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, state secretary at the Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, and secretary-general of the National Council of the Republic of Slovenia.
