Motohito Mitsuboshi is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Anjo, Aichi Prefecture. Born in Anjo in 1960, he graduated from Aichi University before embarking on a long career within the Anjo City municipal government. He served in various administrative roles, including Director of the Citizen Life Department, and eventually became the Deputy Mayor of Anjo in 2019. After resigning from his deputy position in 2022, he successfully ran for mayor in February 2023. As mayor, he has focused on local welfare initiatives, including the implementation of free school lunches for students in the city.
