Mujtaba A. Mohammed

Mujtaba A. Mohammed is an American politician serving as a member of the North Carolina Senate, representing the 38th district since 2019. Born in Toledo, Ohio, and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, he is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and the North Carolina Central University School of Law. Before his election, he worked as a children's rights advocate and public interest attorney. In the legislature, Mohammed focuses on education reform, economic development, affordable healthcare, and criminal justice reform.
