Mwita Waitara

Mwita Mwikwabe Waitara is a Tanzanian politician currently serving as a Member of the National Assembly representing the Tarime Urban constituency. Born on July 17, 1976, he has held various positions within the Tanzanian government, including serving as a Deputy Minister of State in the President's Office for Regional Administration and Local Government following his appointment in 2018. Originally a member of the CHADEMA party, he transitioned to the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) in 2018. He has been an active participant in Tanzanian parliamentary affairs since his initial election in 2015.
