中川紘一

Koichi Nakagawa is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives, representing the Hokkaido 11th district. Born in the Netherlands, he graduated from Waseda University and previously worked at Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance. He comes from a prominent political family, being the grandson of former Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Ichiro Nakagawa. He was elected to the Diet in February 2026 after defeating incumbent Kaori Ishikawa.
