Naohide Hayakawa is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Ashikaga in Tochigi Prefecture. Born in Ashikaga, he graduated from Waseda University and initially worked at the Ashikaga Bank. Following the death of his father, former mayor Kazuo Hayakawa, he entered politics and was elected to the Tochigi Prefectural Assembly in 2003, where he served five terms and held positions including Vice-Chairman and Chairman of the assembly. He was first elected Mayor of Ashikaga in 2021 and secured a second term in 2025 after running unopposed.
