山下 直也

Naoya Yamashita is a Japanese politician currently serving his eighth term as a member of the Wakayama Prefectural Assembly. Born in 1955, he began his career at the Wakayama City Hall before being elected to the Wakayama City Council in 1991. He was first elected to the Prefectural Assembly in 1995 and has since held several leadership roles, including serving as the Chairman of the Wakayama Prefectural Assembly and as the Secretary-General of the Liberal Democratic Party's prefectural caucus. Yamashita is actively involved in numerous regional organizations, focusing on policy areas such as tourism promotion, infrastructure development, and social welfare.
