Napoleon Harris is an American politician and former professional football player who has served as a member of the Illinois Senate representing the 15th district since 2013. Before entering politics, he played as a linebacker in the National Football League for seven seasons with the Oakland Raiders, Minnesota Vikings, and Kansas City Chiefs. In addition to his legislative duties, he serves as the Thornton Township Supervisor and as a Democratic committeeman. Harris holds a degree from Northwestern University and is a business owner.
