Napoleon Nelson is an American politician serving as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 154th District. First elected in 2020, he made history as the first Black state representative to hold this seat. Before entering the state legislature, Nelson served as a board director for the Cheltenham School District and as a finance officer for Cheltenham Township. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. In the legislature, he focuses on aging services, education, and finance.
