Neil Shastri-Hurst is a British Conservative Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Solihull West and Shirley since 2024. Before entering politics, he had a diverse career as a medical doctor, having served in the Royal Army Medical Corps and as an Honorary Consultant Trauma Co-ordinator. He later retrained as a barrister specializing in healthcare and personal injury law. In Parliament, he has been involved in legislative committees, including those examining assisted suicide, and has expressed political views advocating for the integration of immigrants and the reform of the World Health Organization.
