Nick Fosness is an American politician currently serving as a member of the South Dakota House of Representatives for the 1st district. He was appointed to the position in August 2025 by Governor Larry Rhoden to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Chris Reder. As a member of the Republican Party, Fosness represents his constituents in the northeastern region of South Dakota. He assumed office in 2025 and continues to serve in the state legislature.
