Nicolae Păun

Nicolae Păun is a Romani-Romanian politician who has served as a member of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies since 2000, representing the Romani minority. As a founding member and president of the Party of the Roma, he has been a prominent advocate for Romani rights and has chaired the Committee for Human Rights, Religious Affairs and National Minorities. Throughout his long parliamentary career, he has focused on minority representation and social issues, though he has also faced significant legal scrutiny regarding allegations of financial misconduct.
