Nikos Pappas

Nikos Pappas is a Greek economist and politician currently serving as a Member of the Hellenic Parliament representing the Athens B constituency. A long-time associate of Alexis Tsipras, he previously served as Minister of State and Minister of Digital Policy, Telecommunications and Media. Pappas holds a PhD from the University of Strathclyde, where he also worked as a researcher. In recent years, he has advocated for a unified centre-left alliance in Greece to counter the governing New Democracy party.
