Tina Kafatsaki

Tina Kafatsaki is a Greek politician and economist currently serving as the Mayor of Zografou. Born in 1959 and raised in Ano Ilisia, she holds degrees in Economics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as well as postgraduate qualifications in Human Resource Management from the University of Leicester and an MBA from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management. Kafatsaki has a long history of local government involvement, having first been elected as a municipal councilor in 1990 and previously serving as Mayor of Zografou from 2014 to 2019. Her professional background includes work in the private sector and as a senior official managing co-funded programs for the Ministry of Interior, alongside teaching experience at the National School of Local Government.
