Niranjan Kumar Mehta

Niranjan Kumar Mehta is an Indian politician serving as a Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly, representing the Bihariganj constituency. First elected in 2015 and re-elected in 2020, he previously served as the Mukhiya of Madhuban Panchayat in Udakishunganj. Throughout his tenure, Mehta has focused on agricultural issues, particularly advocating for fair pricing for maize farmers in the Madhepura region, and has worked on local infrastructure projects such as the reconstruction of the Uda-Madhuban roadway. He is also associated with the Kushwaha Rajnaitik Vichar Manch, an organization dedicated to the political rights of the Koeri caste.
