嘉数登

Noboru Kakazu is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Miyakojima, Okinawa Prefecture. Born in Miyakojima in 1963, he graduated from Nihon Fukushi University with a degree in social welfare. Before his election as mayor in 2025, he had a long career as a civil servant within the Okinawa Prefectural Government, holding various leadership roles including Director of the Commerce, Industry and Labor Department and Director of the Governor's Office. He also served as the Deputy Mayor of Miyakojima prior to his successful mayoral campaign.
