Noriyuki Oshiro is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Nanjo City in Okinawa Prefecture. Born in 1968 in the Oozato village area (now part of Nanjo), he graduated from the University of the Ryukyus and worked for the JA Okinawa Economic Federation before entering politics. His career includes serving as a member of the Oozato Village Assembly, the Nanjo City Assembly, and the Okinawa Prefectural Assembly. Throughout his legislative career, he was affiliated with various parties, including the Sozo Party and the Japan Innovation Party, before eventually becoming an independent. In December 2025, he was elected as the fourth Mayor of Nanjo City, campaigning on a platform of reform following the resignation of his predecessor.
