Numan Kurtulmuş is a Turkish politician and academic currently serving as the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. A former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Tourism, he has held various high-level positions within the Justice and Development Party (AKP) since joining in 2012. Previously, he led the Felicity Party and the People's Voice Party. An economist by training, he held a long academic career at Istanbul University before transitioning into national politics.
