Nusrat Tabassum

Nusrat Tabassum is a Bangladeshi politician, human rights activist, and Member of Parliament representing a reserved women's seat for the National Citizen Party. A political science student at the University of Dhaka, she gained national prominence as one of the key coordinators of the Students Against Discrimination during the July Uprising that led to the fall of the Awami League government. She serves as a joint convener of the National Citizen Party and chief organizer of its women's wing, Jatiya Nari Shakti.
