Oebele Brouwer is a Dutch jurist and former politician who served as the mayor of Achtkarspelen from 2019 to 2025. Before entering local government, he had a distinguished career as a public prosecutor for the Public Prosecution Service, where he gained national attention for his work on the Marianne Vaatstra murder case. In 2023, he served as a formateur to help establish a coalition in the province of Friesland. Following his tenure as mayor, he transitioned into a role as a criminal judge in 2025.
