Omprakash Singh is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the Zamania constituency in Uttar Pradesh. A veteran member of the Samajwadi Party, he was elected to his seventh term in the 2022 assembly elections. Throughout his extensive career, he has held significant cabinet positions, including Minister for Irrigation from 2003 to 2007 and Minister for Tourism from 2012 to 2017. Additionally, he served as a Member of Parliament representing Ghazipur in the 12th Lok Sabha from 1998 to 1999.
