大島九州男

Kusuo Oshima is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Councillors, representing the Reiwa Shinsengumi party. Born in Nogata, Fukuoka, he previously served as a city councilor for 12 years before entering national politics. Throughout his career, he has been affiliated with the Democratic Party and the Democratic Party for the People before joining Reiwa Shinsengumi. Oshima has held various parliamentary committee roles, including chair of the Cabinet Committee. His political platform emphasizes opposition to constitutional revision, particularly Article 9, and he advocates for policies such as the introduction of selective separate surnames for married couples and the legalization of same-sex marriage.
