Patrick Harvie is a Scottish politician who has served as a Member of the Scottish Parliament (MSP) for the Glasgow region since 2003. A prominent figure in the Scottish Green Party, he served as co-leader of the party from 2008 to 2025. Between 2021 and 2024, he held the position of Minister for Zero Carbon Buildings, Active Travel and Tenants' Rights, becoming one of the first Green politicians in the United Kingdom to serve in a government role.
