Patrick Spencer

Patrick Spencer is a British politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Central Suffolk and North Ipswich since 2024. Educated at the University of Leeds and Georgetown University, he previously worked in finance and as a policy adviser at the Department for Education, focusing on children and family policy. Originally elected as a Conservative, he currently sits as an independent following the withdrawal of the party whip in May 2025. Spencer has been involved in social policy research, including work with the Centre for Social Justice, and has advocated on issues such as agricultural property relief and care-experienced children.
