Paula Jorritsma

Paula Jorritsma-Verkade is a Dutch politician and historian who has served as the Mayor of Voorst since February 2022. Before her current role, she was a municipal councilor and alderman in Woudrichem and later in the municipality of Altena. Her professional background includes working as a journalist for the Brabants Dagblad and as a historian for the regional archive of Langstraat Heusden Altena. She holds degrees in social history and history from Erasmus University Rotterdam and Utrecht University respectively.
