Paulo Freire Costa

Paulo Freire Costa is a Brazilian politician and evangelical pastor currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies representing the state of São Paulo. A member of the Liberal Party, he is also a prominent leader within the Assembleia de Deus (Assembly of God) church, specifically the Belém Ministry in Campinas. Throughout his legislative career, he has maintained a conservative political stance, notably voting in favor of the impeachment of Dilma Rousseff and supporting various economic reforms during the Temer administration. He is known for his strong opposition to abortion, a position rooted in his religious faith.
