A member of the Civic Platform party, he previously served as the Starosta (district administrator) of Kędzierzyn-Koźle County from 2021 to 2024 and as a local councilor. Before entering national politics, he worked as a teacher and served as the director of the Adam Mickiewicz Public Primary School No. 5 in Kędzierzyn-Koźle. In the Sejm, he is a member of the Committee on Economy and Development and the Committee on Justice and Human Rights.
