Peder Hvelplund

Peder Hvelplund is a Danish politician serving as a member of the Folketing for the Red-Green Alliance. Born in 1967, he first entered national politics as a substitute member of parliament before being elected in his own right during the 2019 Danish general election. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has focused on various policy areas, notably serving as the Red-Green Alliance's spokesperson for issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic. He continues to represent the North Jutland constituency in the Danish legislature.
