Pedro Santana Lopes

Pedro Santana Lopes is a Portuguese lawyer and politician currently serving as the Mayor of Figueira da Foz. A prominent figure in Portuguese politics, he served as the Prime Minister of Portugal from 2004 to 2005 and held various high-level positions, including Mayor of Lisbon and Secretary of State for Culture. Throughout his long career, he has been a member of the Social Democratic Party, briefly founded the Alliance party, and served as the head of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa. He is known for his extensive experience in both local and national government.
