Peter Bedford

Peter Alexander Bedford is a British Conservative Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Mid Leicestershire since 2024. Born in Northamptonshire, he studied law at the University of Leicester and subsequently qualified as a chartered accountant with PwC. Before his election to the House of Commons, Bedford served on the Leicestershire County Council, where he held various roles including cabinet portfolio holder for Recovery and Transformation. He is of British Indian and English heritage.
