Peter Gerhardt

Peter Gerhardt is a German politician and a member of the 8th Landtag of Thuringia, representing the constituency of Weimar I / Weimarer Land II since 2024. Born in 1992 in Apolda, he previously worked in technical sales for the energy provider SachsenEnergie after studying industrial engineering. A member of the AfD, Gerhardt served as deputy state chairman of the Junge Alternative Thuringia from 2019 to 2022 and worked as a parliamentary assistant in the Lower Saxony Landtag. In the Thuringian Landtag, he focuses on European policy, media, education, and science. His political platform emphasizes economic deregulation, the promotion of innovative startups, and stricter migration policies, including initiatives for the deportation of illegal and criminal migrants.
