Peter Jančovič is a Slovak environmentalist and politician currently serving as the Mayor of Piešťany, a position he has held since 2018. He also serves as a member of the Trnava Regional Council, having been elected in 2022. Prior to his mayoral tenure, he served as a member of the Piešťany City Council from 2014 to 2018. An independent politician, Jančovič holds a PhD in landscape protection and utilization and has focused his political platform on climate change adaptation, water management, and urban development.
