Peter Nicolaï

Peter Nicolaï is a Dutch lawyer and politician who has served as a member of the Senate of the Netherlands since 2019, representing the Party for the Animals. Before his parliamentary career, he held a long-standing academic position as an associate professor of law at the University of Amsterdam and worked as a professor of public law at the Open University of the Netherlands. A practicing lawyer since 1985, Nicolaï has specialized in administrative law and frequently represented environmental activist groups in legal challenges against the Dutch government.
