Phillip Brett

Phillip Brett is a Northern Irish politician serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Belfast North since 2022. A member of the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP), he currently acts as the party's Economy spokesperson and chairs the Northern Ireland Assembly's Committee for the Economy. Prior to his election to the Assembly, Brett served as a local councillor for Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council from 2014 to 2022. In 2024, he unsuccessfully contested the Belfast North seat in the UK General Election.
