Rahmi Aşkın Türeli is a Turkish economist, planner, and politician currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Born in Merzifon, he holds a degree in Finance from Ankara University and a master's degree in Economics from the University of Southern California. Before his legislative career, he worked as a planning expert for the State Planning Organization, lectured at Middle East Technical University, and served on the boards of various financial institutions. Türeli has published extensive research on macroeconomic balances, industrialization, and poverty, and he previously held leadership roles in several professional and civil society organizations.
