Ranjith Madduma Bandara

Ranjith Madduma Bandara is a Sri Lankan politician currently serving as a Member of the Parliament of Sri Lanka. He has held several ministerial positions throughout his career, including Minister of Law and Order, Minister of Public Administration and Management, and Minister of Transport. A long-time member of the United National Party, he transitioned to become the inaugural general secretary of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya in 2020. Educated at Ananda College, he worked as a planter and businessman before entering politics. He is the son of the late parliamentarian R. M. Gunasekera Gunasekera Gunasekera Gunasekera.
