Rebecca Smith

Rebecca Smith is a British Conservative Party politician serving as the Member of Parliament for South West Devon since July 2024. Prior to her election to the House of Commons, she was a councillor on Plymouth City Council representing the Plymstock Radford ward from 2018 until 2026, where she also held roles including Cabinet Member for Homes and Communities and Chair of the Planning Committee. In Parliament, she serves as an Opposition Assistant Whip and is a member of the Transport Committee, focusing on local infrastructure, regional economic issues, and public service advocacy.
