Rehan Asif Asad

Rehan Asif Asad is a Bangladeshi engineer, technology executive, and politician serving as an adviser to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman with the rank of state minister. He oversees the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology and the Ministry of Science and Technology, having formally assumed charge in February 2026. Prior to his government appointment, he worked as a technology professional. In his official capacity, he has prioritized national digital connectivity, aiming to expand 5G access to a vast majority of the population.
