Renske Helmer-Englebert

Renske Helmer-Englebert is a Dutch politician and administrator who has served as the Mayor of Wijchen since November 2022. A member of the Socialist Party, she previously held roles as a municipal councilor and alderman in Nijmegen, where she focused on portfolios including education, social affairs, and poverty reduction. Before her career in local government, she worked as a nurse at UMC St Radboud and served as a policy officer for various healthcare organizations. In 2021, she briefly served as the acting mayor of Voorst before assuming her current mayoral position.
