Ricardo Trevilla Trejo

Ricardo Trevilla Trejo is a Mexican military officer currently serving as the Secretary of National Defense under President Claudia Sheinbaum, a position he has held since October 1, 2024. Born in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, he has had an extensive career in the Mexican military since 1978 and holds the rank of Division General. He holds a bachelor's degree in military administration from the Mexican Army and Air Force University, as well as master's degrees in public administration and military administration for Interior Security and National Defense.
