Richard J. Bailey

Richard J. Bailey is an American politician currently serving as a Republican member of the Vermont House of Representatives for the Lamoille-2 district. Born in Morristown, Vermont, he previously held a professional role as a director at the Lamoille County Planning Commission. Before his successful election to the state legislature, Bailey ran as a candidate for the same district in the 2020 and 2022 elections, though he was unsuccessful in those initial attempts. He continues to represent his constituents in the Vermont State House.
