Richard Henry Stuart is an American politician and attorney serving as a member of the Senate of Virginia. First elected to the state senate in 2007, he currently represents the 25th district. Throughout his legislative career, Stuart has focused on issues such as education reform, including proposals to allow student input on tuition increases, and environmental initiatives, most notably spearheading efforts to address combined sewer overflow outfalls in Virginia. He is a graduate of Virginia Wesleyan University and the University of Richmond School of Law.
