Rick Larsen

Rick Larsen is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Washington's 2nd congressional district since 2001. A member of the Democratic Party, he is recognized as a moderate within the New Democrat Coalition and currently serves as the ranking member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. Before his election to Congress, Larsen worked as a lobbyist for the dental profession and as the director of public affairs for the Washington State Dental Association. Throughout his tenure, he has focused on transportation infrastructure, economic development, and environmental conservation, while maintaining a consistent voting record on national security and healthcare issues.
