Rick Chavez Zbur is an American politician and attorney currently serving as a member of the California State Assembly for the 51st district. Before his election to the state legislature in 2022, he had a long career as an environmental lawyer and served as the executive director of Equality California, the state's largest LGBT civil rights organization. A prominent advocate for environmental protection and LGBT rights, Zbur previously served as president of the California League of Conservation Voters. He is a member of the California Legislative Progressive Caucus and has been a vocal participant in state housing policy debates.
