Roger Cook is an Australian politician serving as the 31st Premier of Western Australia since 2023. A member of the Australian Labor Party, he has represented the electoral district of Kwinana in the Western Australian Legislative Assembly since 2008. Before becoming Premier, he served as Deputy Premier from 2017 to 2023 and held various ministerial portfolios, including Health, Tourism, and State Development. Cook previously worked as a public relations consultant and in management roles for Aboriginal corporations. He is known for his leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic and his focus on state industry and economic development.
