Ron Ryckman Sr.

Ron Ryckman Sr. is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Kansas Senate, having been appointed to the position in March 2021 following the death of Bud Estes. Prior to his service in the Senate, he represented the 115th District in the Kansas House of Representatives from 2011 to 2017. Before entering state politics, Ryckman served in the United States Army from 1970 to 1972 and spent twenty-nine years as a public school teacher. He also served on the Meade School Board starting in 2009.
